| dc.description.abstract | The study was conducted to investigate the effect of Confined Sites on operative’s productivity on construction project in Nigeria. The study was undertaking using both primary and secondary data collection methods. Structured questionnaires were administered to the participants that were chosen from a random sampling technique. The study revealed that the productivity of workers is not affected by confined construction sites. Also, the study further revealed that there is adequate planning and organizational effectiveness of confined construction sites. This means that there is adequate planning in the confined construction site such that organizational effectiveness is attained. Moreover, the study also added to the understanding of authorities, construction firms and policy makers on the need to ensure safety in confined sites of construction projects to maintain high productivity of employees. Lastly, the study recommended that cases of overcrowding on the confined sites should be looked into by contractors to create conducive atmosphere for work | en_US |
