dc.description.abstract Architecture is a practice that gives specialized and spatial reactions to human needs, functions and exercises in open and enclosed physical spaces. These needs, functions and exercises show in a mix of forms as indicated by ages, sexual orientation, social and economic well-being among others. They are likewise communicated in appreciation of the colors, compositions, materials, scale and so on to suite people or a unique set of individuals. Although technical and spatial reactions rise after the declaration of peculiar needs, the end product likewise holds genuine, whereby people or a set of individuals respond in exceptional approaches to secure spatial structures. Children are a set of individuals who respond to spaces with all their five faculties; touch, smell, feel, taste and listen. They sense their physical space in an extremely prompt and detailed way and their reaction to spaces can be significantly more straightforward compared to adults. Their condition of well-being, free from ailments is essential to their guardians and the nation all in all. Some piece of the methodology of keeping up well-being is incidental or stretched out visits to healing facilities. However the experience of going to healing centres can be dainty actually for grown-ups, part of the way on account of the rigid space that physically challenge guests. For children, going to health centres can be particularly tasking by nature, as they are stressed by debilitated wellbeing, painful restorative methodologies and debilitating aura of nurses. Children stress from hospital visits can be further exasperated by issues of arrangement, colours, surfaces, materials, scale and so forth. This is by virtue of, various health facilities (spaces) in Nigeria, have been made with little consideration out of the shifting needs of little children, more settled adolescents, young people, people and care-givers. Subsequently, these needs of adolescents in such facilities need to be critically considered. The recent statistics in Nigeria demonstrates that Child Mortality rate has declined when contrasted with the earlier years, however the Ministry of Health is of the perspective that the rate of decrease has been slow particularly considering the local variations in the nation and hence as one of their intercessions, proposes more pediatric centres to be placed up in all the local government areas of the nation. Given the level of venture needed to attain to this objective of expanded pediatric centres across the nation, it is imperative for the lessons to be learned with children's' experiences of healing facilities to be highlighted keeping in mind the end goal in order to make such investors sustainable and applicable. en_US
