| dc.description.abstract | This project work titled 'Students Community Center'. Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo was carried out to properly provide a comprehensive and functional architectural symbolic students community center where most students' activities within the polytechnic academic community will be addressed and provide a rally point for students interaction. This work detailed the importance of having a public building with an effective use of landscape and also explained that; functional Design requires an effective Landscaped environment to provide absolute comfort for the users within a build up environment. More so, it provides a well-landscaped center that will conveniently house various students' activities under a single roof. Intensive library research, expansive case studies, end user inputs and currents findings form the sources of information and design brief for the project. It is hoped that the work will provide a model and basis for future works by Architects, planners and others stake holders in tertiary institution physical development in general as well as meet the critical need of the Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo students community. | en_US |
