the earth's features and other environmental information
necessary for map production, designing engineering works,
planning, location and exploitation of natural resources as well
as land administration. It is a multi-disciplinary subject which
serves as foundation discipline in engineering, environmental
studies, analysis and planning. Geoinformatics is an integrated
process for mapping and geoinformation production through
the supporting technologies of geodesy, photogrammetry,
remote sensing, cartography, computing and land
