Abstract:
Electricity constitutes an essential input in the development process. It is the biggest operational problem facing industries in this country (Aderoba, 2000). Persistent power interruption in Nigeria in recent years has become a regular phenomenon to the extent that government, private establishments as well as individuals are showing serious concern about its negative consequences Electricity has influence on virtually all spheres of life: education, agriculture, recreation, the army, the navy and standard of living among others.
