dc.description.abstract The study examined the consumers satisfaction with facility management in Akure. The study specifically looked at Bank of Industry (BOI) building which is occupied by various organiations and situated at Alagbaka area. Furthermore the building was chosen because it is totally occupied by tenants with a lot of facilities provided introduced to ensure high performance and effective running. The total population of the occupants of the building was selected for the purpose of this study and a structured questionnaire combined with personal interview was used to obtain information from the occupants. Data were analysed using frequency, percentage and weighted mean score. The data revealed the consumers view of facility management service provided in the building and the respondent rank cleaning and clearing of services first with a mean value of 7.40 This is followed by refuse disposal with a mean value of 7.27 Fumigation and pest control is ranked third with a mean value of 7.20 water supply and treatment is ranked fourth while sewage treatment is ranked fifth. Furthermore the respondents agreed that they are averagely satisfied with the management of the facilities but few of them suggested that It can be improved upon. en_US
