dc.description.abstract The study assessed the impact of human resources management on construction projects delivery in Ondo State. Three objectives were assessed based on effectiveness and viability that will help to correct the challenges of construction projects delivery in Ondo State. The study utilized an exploratory approach using a descriptive survey design. Data were gathered using both primary and secondary sources. One hundred and twenty (120) questionnaires were administered and One hundred and three data were retrieved and subsequently processed. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Demographic characteristics of respondents were presented in tables, frequencies and percentages while objectives and hypotheses were analyzed using Mean Item Score (MIS), Relative Importance Index (RII), Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) and Pearson Product Moment Correlation. The absence of a framework that address critical issues concerned with Human Resources Management (HRM) and lack of organizational policy were ranked as factors affecting HRM in construction firms, with a MIS scores of (3.52 and 3.39) respectively. Challenges confronting human resources management in delivering construction projects. Ranked first, with a RII score of (0.94), among the challenges was financial problems associated with the project’s deliver. The statistical results show that Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient was significant at 95% confidence level (Significant value (p = 0.002) < .05) and there was a positive relationship (r=0.341), so the null hypothesis was rejected and the alternate hypothesis was accepted. The study recommends that financial problems by the project sponsors should be critically addressed, wages and other financial benefits of employees should be structured and upwardly reviewed by management for employees to improve on their level of performance. Also the growth of the employees on the job through training and development should be efficiently implemented. en_US
